Delivery

We offer home delivery to every UK postcode (excluding Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland).

Please note, it is your responsibility to ensure access for delivery to your property. In situations where we cannot gain access, we may be able to offer delivery to the nearest point possible. Fraud protection compliance dictates we deliver only to a home address.

If we believe successful re-delivery is viable when you have taken the necessary measures, we will attempt another delivery however we reserve the right to not re-attempt delivery.

Occasionally something will happen out of our control that closes roads, like floods, snow or other adverse weather conditions or things like, sporting events which result in closed roads. If a problem occurs, we'll contact you as soon as possible to arrange alternative delivery options. We will do what we can, but can’t be held liable if we can’t fulfil delivery due to reasons beyond our control.

Data Protection

The transmission of information via the internet is not guaranteed to be totally secure. We cannot accept liability for any loss or damage suffered in connection with any information sent between you and us via the internet.

Changes to the Site

We reserve the right to change the contents of this site, including these Terms of Conditions. Your use of the website following such changes constitutes your acceptance of these changes.

Cancellation

NOTICE OF STATUTORY CONTRACT CANCELLATION UNDER THE CONSUMER CONTRACT REGULATIONS 2013

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from you receiving your vehicle.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel your contract, we will refund all payments received (including the amount you paid for delivery), but you will be responsible for the cost of returning the vehicle to our depot at eCars247, 42 Randles Road, Knowsley, L34 9HX.

Conditions:

To cancel your contract, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by 5pm on the 14th day after your vehicle was delivered to you. This must be done in a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email). You may use the cancellation form template (link below) or write your own.

- The vehicle is free of all financial charges other than the one created by this retail instalment contract;

- The vehicle is in the same condition you received it except for reasonable wear and tear or any mechanical problem that becomes evident after delivery that was not caused by you;

- The vehicle is without damage or having been in an accident; in the result of damage to the vehicle, we will make a deduction from the refund amount for any loss in value;

- The vehicle has not covered more than allowed mileage; the agreed maximum mileage is 500 miles. If you go over the allowed mileage you will pay an excess mileage charge of £1.00 per mile.

Example: You cover 620 miles in the 14-day test drive limit. That equates to 120 miles over the given allowance, so you will be charged 120 x £1.00 = £120.00

We will make the refund without unnecessary delay:

- No later than 7 days after the day we receive the vehicle or

- If the vehicle was not supplied, 7 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel your contract

If your returned vehicle has reduced in value, due to handling outside of what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the vehicle, you will responsible for this reduction in value.

We will make the refund using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees because of the refund.

We aim to contact you within 2 days of receiving your cancellation form. If you haven’t heard from us within this time, please call us on 0330 0580 247.

Things Beyond our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by events outside our reasonable control. Such events include any act, non-occurrence, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes, in particular (without limitation), the following:

Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action; or civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war; or Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster or adverse weather; or
Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; or Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks.

Our obligations under these terms are suspended for the period that such event continues and we will have an extension of time to perform these obligations for the duration of that period. We will take reasonable steps to bring the event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under these terms can be performed despite the event.
